Turret airbags may be configured in padding around a turret access opening, and/or as substantially cylindrical airbags that deploy between the occupant of the turret and a wall or exterior opening of the turret. In some examples, the turret airbag(s) may be integrated with a countermeasure system that deploys explosion countermeasures and activates the turret airbags based on sensor data and multiple thresholds that indicate a collision event, a rollover event and/or an explosion event.

A vehicular airbag device including an airbag 5 which opens an airbag door openably sealing an opening 4 formed on an instrument panel 2, which deploys and expands rearward in a vehicle longitudinal direction from the opening toward an occupant 1 sitting on a front seat of a vehicle, and which catches the occupant while being supported by the instrument panel, wherein an outer shape of the airbag when fully deployed and expanded is line-symmetrical with respect to a center line (a line X-X) of the opening in a vehicle left-right width direction, and a width dimension WB in the vehicle width direction at a position of a rear edge 2b of the instrument panel in the vehicle longitudinal direction is greater than a width dimension WC in the vehicle width direction at a position of a center Z1 of the opening in the vehicle longitudinal direction which is more forward in the vehicle longitudinal direction than the rear edge position of the instrument panel.

摘要： Disclosed is an airbag module comprising a first sleeve (10) which encloses a first gas chamber (G1), a first inflator for filling the first gas chamber (G1), at least one adaptive influencing device, in particular for actively influencing the ventilation of the first gas chamber (G1) or the shape of the first sleeve (10), and an actuation unit (40) for actuating the influencing device. The actuation device (40) has a second sleeve (44) which encloses a second gas chamber (G2), and a gas source for filling the second gas chamber (G2), the state of the influencing device changing as a result of the gas source filling the second gas chamber (G2). In order to achieve great structural and functional flexibility, a traction element is provided, the first end (62) of which is coupled to the adaptive influencing device or forms the adaptive influencing device, and the second end (64) of which is coupled to the second sleeve (44) of the actuation unit (40) when the second gas chamber (G2) is not filled and is decoupled from the second sleeve (44) when the second gas chamber (G2) is filled.
