    • A device for the positioning and the quick replacement of pieceholder pallets in a working station is installed along a pallet feed line formed by two parallel rotating belts on which the pallets, retained by side shoulders, move towards a working station in which each pallet is locked by energized electromagnets in face of which there are disposed magnetizable stop members for stopping the pallets; provided in the working station are guides on which the pallets rest when being temporarily moved away from the underlying continuously rotating belts; an air cylinder, provided with retractable projections arranged to cooperate with corresponding seats of the pallets, may be extended for a stroke equal to the longitudinal dimension of each pallet∞ addition,the extension force of the cylinder is lower than the pallet locking force exerted by the electromagnet, so that it is connected to the pallet situated upstream the pallet positioned in the working station, and is actuated to exert a pushing action onto the pallet to which it is connected in the working station while the electromagnet is still energized, thus instantaneously imparting a translation movement to the pallet to which it is connected within the working station and to the pallet which precedes it outside said working station, as soon as the electromagnet is de-energized.

    • This invention relates to a method and a device for handling of plane workpieces (2) when boring holes in two opposite ends (2A, 2B) of the workpieces (2), preferably parts for cabinets, to be provided with holes which should fit pegs for assembling purposes. By means of the invention it is facilitated to accomplish holes rationally in desired places on plane workpieces. The method according to the invention is attained in such a way that when the workpiece (2) in question is transported between stops (16,17) situated on each side of the workpiece (2) extending across the direction of transport when boring desired holes in the workpiece (2) in the region of said stops (16, 17).

    • The present invention relates to a jig apparatus for use with industrial robots, designed so that in processing work on a multikind and small- and medium- quantity production basis, when work to be automtically welded, soldered, painted or press-worked is changed from one type to another, a jig table for clamping the work can be efficiently removably exchangeably mounted. To this end, the technical arrangement of the invention comprises a jig table for clamping work, and a slide disk adapted to be slid back and forth on guide rails laid on an installation stand placed on a whorkshop floor to carry in and out work with respect to a welding, soldering, press-working or other industrial robot, wherein in order to removably assemble the jig table from above to the slide disk so that they can be integrally moved back and forth, a pawl disk fixed to the upper surface of the slide table and a second pawl disk fixed to the lower surface of the table in opposed relation to the first pawl disk are removably engaged with each other by means of turnable hook segments fitted on the outer peripheral surfaces of the two pawl disks, while a centering guide post fixedly erected on the center of the pawl disk on the slide disk is removably fitted in the central opening in the pawl disk on the table through point contact between balls in a ball retainer fitted on the guide post and a centering guide bushing fitted in the central opening, the ball retainer being constantly subjected to an upward resilient force.

    • A workpiece handling system is disclosed. The system includes a generally centralized pallet handling stand (20), and a number of pallet-accepting stations (30-33). These stations can be associated with machine tools such as vertical turret lathes (24) or horizontal boring machines (25) or other machine tools.
