    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head rest support structure superior in terms of peeling properties in place of nickel-chrome plating and having appearance matching with the interior of a vehicle.SOLUTION: In the head rest support structure including a hollow support body 3 provided at an upper part of a seat back 4 and a metal-made stay 2 provided at a lower part of a head rest 1 and inserted into the hollow support body 3, a plurality of recessed parts 22 are provided on a side surface of the stay 2 along its moving direction, and the hollow support body 3 is provided with a metal-made engagement member 8 selectively engaged with one of the plurality of recessed parts 22 to adjust the height of the head rest 1 while it is normally biased to the side surface of the stay 2 by a biasing member 7. The side surface of the stay 2 and the engagement member 8 are provided with a resin-made stay-side coating layer and an engagement member-side coating layer. The hardness of the stay-side coating layer is higher than that of the engagement member-side coating layer. Accordingly, the head rest support structure having superior peeling resistance and having appearance matching with the interior of the vehicle is achieved.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piston ring capable of effectively preventing an aluminum adhesion phenomenon to the piston ring.
      SOLUTION: The piston ring includes a piston ring main body and a surface coating film formed on either one or both of upper and lower surfaces of the piston ring main body. The surface coating film has at least an outermost surface layer comprising heat-resistant resin and metal powder included in the heat-resistant resin and a base bottom layer formed nearest to the piston ring main body and comprising heat-resistant resin and metal powder included in the heat-resistant resin. The content of the metal powder included in the base bottom layer is set smaller than that of the metal powder included in the outermost surface layer.
