摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide composition for a sliding member which has lower friction coefficient, superior wear resistance and better seizure resistance as compared with the existing composition for sliding members which consists of base resin and solid lubricant dispersed in the resin. SOLUTION: This composition for a sliding member contains polyamideimide(PAI) resin and microcapsules dispersed in the polyamideimide resin which consist of film made of resin and lubricant made of oil or grease contained in the film. In other words, this composition for a sliding member makes use of PAI resin as base material and microcapsules containing liquid lubricant, i.e., oil or grease, are dispersed in the PAI.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition for rust-preventive lubrication, which has a relatively high, moderate friction coefficient, moreover controls wear low, and can give rust-preventive properties without impairing these lubricating performances. SOLUTION: There is provided a coating composition for rust-preventive lubrication comprising a solid lubricant, a friction-coefficient regulating agent and a synthetic resin, wherein the composition further comprises a rust- preventive pigment.

SOLUTION: This composition for the sliding member is characterized in that the composition comprises a polyamideimide resin, a solid lubricant dispersed in the polyamideimide resin and an abrasion-resistant agent and the polyamideimide resin has 78.4-98 MPa tensile strength, 1,960-2,940 longitudinal elastic coefficient and 10-20% elongation percentage. Excellent abrasion resistance, frictional characteristics and seizure resistance be obtained by adjusting the tensile strength to an extent so as not be broken by sliding and the longitudinal elastic coefficient and elongation percentage to those for reducing contact stress.

While, in the case when the torque fluctuation between the shafts 11 and 12 exceeds the set value, the torque limiter 5 generates sliding so as to improve torque-transmission cutoff-property between the shafts 11 and 12. SOLUTION: This dilatant liquid is prepared by dispersing in (A) an aprotic polar organic solvent (preferably N-methylpyrrolidone) (B) particles such as silica preferably having a particle diameter of about 0.05-5 μm in a weight content ratio (the ingredient A/the ingredient B) of about 100/(70-90). The dilatant liquid is produced by adding the ingredient A to the ingredient B and by leaving the mixture over night, followed by simple agitation.

A method for cold forging is characterized by applying the lubricant for cold forging to a workpiece to carry out cold forging.
