SOLUTION: The vehicle driving device comprises an electric differential part in which the differential state between input shaft rotating speed and output shaft rotating speed is controlled by controlling the operating state of a motor connected to a rotating element of the differential part, and a transmission part constituting a part of a power transmission line and functioning as a stepped automatic transmission part, in the power transmission line extending from an engine to a driving wheel. The control device controls the output torque of the motor so that the variation of engine speed is restrained when the stepped transmission part is down-shifted in the vehicle driving device.
