    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transmission for shifting in response to a predetermined rotation quantity without depending on a user's intentional operation.SOLUTION: This automatic transmission has a hub unit 310 including a hub shaft 312 having an outside gear 324 and a hub shell for forming a third ratchet ring 372 and a second key projection on an inner peripheral surface, a first travel unit 330 including a driver 332 forming a second ratchet 342 on an outer peripheral surface and a driven sprocket 334 for rotating the driver, a second travel unit 350 including a third ratchet 358 for rotating the hub shell by meshing with the third ratchet ring and a carrier 352 attached with a plurality of planetary gears 356 rotating by meshing with the outside gear, and a conversion unit 370 including a ring gear having an inside gear 326 meshing with the planetary gears and a first key projection, and a bush arranged between the first key projection and a second key projection and transmitting torque from the driver to the carrier or the hub shell.

    • The present invention relates to a transmission for a motor and, more particularly, to an apparatus which optimizes a transmission, which outputs rotational force only in one direction at different transmission gear ratios in accordance with forward and reverse rotational directions of a motor rotary shaft, permits a reverse input, transmits accurate rotational force without slippage, and has durability against long-term use. A transmission which receives rotational force from a rotary shaft (12) of a motor (10) and outputs the rotational force to an output shaft by shift transmission, in which the rotational force is outputted in one direction at different transmission gear ratios in accordance with forward or reverse rotation of the rotary shaft (12) of the motor, the transmission comprising: a drive shaft (100) in which one or more one-way clutch slopes (110) are formed on the outer periphery of a certain section thereof; a double one-way clutch (200) comprising a carrier (210) which accommodates a forward constraint (211) and a reverse constraint (212) at equal radial intervals with a predetermined phase angle difference on both sides thereof, and a forward output ring (220) and a reverse output ring (230), which are positioned at the outer sides of the forward constraint (211) and the reverse constraints (212) and are selectively rotated according to the rotational direction of the drive shaft (100); and a low-speed and high-speed rotational force transmission means (300, 400) which comprises a plurality of gears rotating in engagement with each other and rotates a rotary shaft (500), wherein the double one-way clutch (200) permits a reverse input with respect to the rotational direction in which the output shaft (500) is rotated. As such, the present invention can enhance the reliability and the shift accuracy of a transmission, and maximize the commerciality and market competitiveness of the transmission.

    • An apparatus for changing the speed of bicycles, more particularly, an apparatus that changes the speed of bicycles using inner gears within a rear wheel hub and controls the inner gears by means of controllers mounted on a hub shaft. The apparatus includes: a driven sprocket receiving the driving force of a driving sprocket; a speed controlling portion, which includes a carrier that is fixed to one side of the driven sprocket, containing a plurality of planetary gears with ratchet-teeth formed along their inner circumferences; at least two sun gears for engaging each step of the planetary gears at their ratchet-teeth; a ring gear engaging the other side of the planetary gears; an output portion, including a hub shell transferring the driving force to the rear wheel by means of the carrier and the ring gear; a clutch means mounted between the carrier and the hub shell, and the ring gear and the hub shell, which selectively mediates the driving force; and a speed-change controlling portion. The speed-change controlling portion includes: a hub shaft having a pawl-positioning portion; at least two sets of pawls which engage with or release from the ratchet-teeth of the two or more sun gears; a pawl-controlling ring that controls the position of the two or more sets of pawls; a transforming disk having a groove along its outer circumference with a hooking portion at a certain position thereon, in order to transform the position of the pawl-controlling ring via a mediating portion; a spring for restoring the position of the transforming disk to its original position; and a spacing portion enabling the transforming disk to rotate freely.
