    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latent heat storage material which can be used over a wide range of fields such as a heat insulator, a cold insulator, a heat storage building material and a latent heat storage material for a gas adsorbent and has the strength required, to provide gas adsorbent including the latent heat storage material, and to provide a method for producing the latent heat storage material.
      SOLUTION: The latent heat storage material comprises a long shaped product having a sheath core structure, in which a component consisting of a core of the sheath core structure comprises an organic compound causing absorption and release of heat through a phase change and a thermoplastic elastomer as a main component and a component consisting of a sheath of the sheath core structure substantially comprises a thermoplastic resin. The latent heat storage material is produced by co-extruding. The gas adsorbent including the latent heat storage material and an activated charcoal is used for a gas adsorbent for a canister or the like.
