    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel transpiration gas adsorbent which restricts temperature rise and temperature fall due to heat generated in accordance with adsorption/desorption of fuel transpiration gas to maintain adsorption/desorption performance, which is easily manufactured, and which is of low cost and high performance.
      SOLUTION: This fuel transpiration gas adsorbent comprises a porous body carrying a heat accumulating component comprising organic compound that absorbs and generates heat by phase change and/or water, and porous adsorbent. At this time, on the porous body with pores of a thin diameter on average, and a relatively large pore volume of thin pores, the heat accumulating component with small temperature difference between a fusing point and a temperature fall crystallization point is carried to form a heat accumulating component carrying porous body. For the porous adsorbent, activated carbon is used, so that especially favorable fuel transpiration gas adsorbent is provided. By integrating the heat accumulating component carrying porous body with the adsorbent by binder, risk of separation due to vibration or the like is eliminated.
