摘要： An image recording and playback apparatus and method and a recording medium by which a representative picture of image data recorded on a hard disk can be searched out and displayed rapidly are disclosed. An inputted AV signal is recorded on a hard disk, and a comparison table produced based on GOP numbers of an inputted image signal and recorded positions on the hard disk at which the top data of GOPs of the GOP numbers is recorded is recorded on another hard disk. Another table produced based on GOP numbers of GOPs in each of which an intra-picture necessary to play back a corresponding representative picture is included and the distances between the intra-pictures and the corresponding representative pictures included in the GOPs of the GOP numbers is recorded on a further hard disk.

A preset pressure indicating member extending along a pressure scale in a circular arc pattern is slidably attached to a front wall of a case, and provided with a first display section. An opaque shield portion provided with a second display section at one end thereof is provided to a transparent cover rotatably attached to the front wall. 摘要： According to one embodiment, a measuring system using an optical waveguide is provided. The measuring system has an optical waveguide, magnetic fine particles, a magnetic field applying unit, a light source and a light receiving element. The optical waveguide has a sensing area to which first substances having a property of specifically bonding to subject substances to be measured are fixed. Second substances having a property of specifically bonding to the subject substances are fixed to the magnetic fine particle. The magnetic field applying unit generates a magnetic field for moving the magnetic fine particles. The light source inputs a light into the optical waveguide. 摘要： The purpose of the present invention is to obtain an electrode wiring structure for semiconductor devices that can suppress the occurrence of Al voids inside aluminum alloy wiring without regard to the orientation of such aluminum alloy wiring. An interlayer insulator film 11, a titanium layer 12, a titanium nitride layer 13 that serves as the barrier layer, an aluminum alloy wiring layer 15 and a protective film 18 are formed on top of the silicon substrate 10 to compose the electrode structure. In this case, a distortion relaxation layer 14, with a film thickness of approximately over 10 nm and which is an intermetallic compound that includes aluminum and titanium in its composition, is formed in between the titanium nitride layer 13 and the aluminum alloy wiring layer 15. Because of this distortion relaxation layer, for every wiring width of 1 .mu.m, the number of Al voids with widths of over 0.3 .mu.m is practically reduced to 0.

摘要： Double-stranded RNA synthesized using native human DNA as template is found to be an excellent interferon inducer with low toxicity in spite of homologous native to host cell. It is produced by reacting ATP, GTP, CTP and UTP with one another in the presence of a native human DNA as template by the catalytic action of an active RNA polymerase to form RNA and subjecting the resulting RNA to annealing by heating it at a temperature of 70.degree. to 100.degree. C. and gradually cooling to room temperature or below to form double-stranded regions between their molecules.
