    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser therapeutic apparatus and its usage precisely and uniformly irradiating a treatment site alone with beams and capable of improving the energy density of an irradiation spot even with less irradiation volume. SOLUTION: This laser therapeutic apparatus is provided with a laser oscillator generating the laser beams, a laser scanning means scanning the laser beams across a predetermined area, a scanning lens system forming a spot image by concentrating the laser beams to be scanned with the laser scanning means, and a spot diameter control means controlling the diameter of the spot image formed with the scanning lens system. The laser scanning means is so constituted as to scan at an arbitrary pattern and pinpointedly irradiate a subject with the laser beams. The scanning region is irradiated with the pinpoint laser beam to effectively and uniformly irradiate the necessary volume to the treatment site alone with the beams of required amount.     • A washing machine includes a water tub, an electric motor, and a control device. The motor comprises a stator including a stator coil, a rotor magnet arranged circumferentially with respect to the rotor, and a control device. The rotor magnet includes a permanent magnet. When the control device applies a first voltage to the stator coil in a wash step of the washing operation, the rotor magnet is magnetized so that a magnetic flux of the rotor magnet acting on the stator is increased without reversal of a direction of magnetization. When the control device applies a second voltage to the stator soil in a dehydration step of the washing operation, the rotor magnet is magnetized so that a magnetic flux of the rotor magnet acting on the stator is reduced without reversal of a direction of magnetization as compared with the magnetic flux in the wash step.

One or more of the permanent magnets having relatively smaller coercive forces have a first magnetic characteristic that when a magnetizing magnetic field is caused to act on the permanent magnets, a magnetic susceptibility is substantially at 0 until reaching an inflection point during magnetization, and when exceeding the inflection point, the magnetic susceptibility enters a loop approximating to the hysteresis loop in a first quadrant, and a second magnetic characteristic that when a demagnetizing magnetic field is caused to act on the permanent magnets, a magnetic susceptibility is substantially at 0 until reaching the inflection point during demagnetization, and when exceeding the inflection point, the magnetic susceptibility enters a loop approximating to the hysteresis loop in a second quadrant.
