The dropping organism 7 on the bottom of the deaerating cylinder 23 is introduced into an underwater depth part from a discharge port 30 through a pipe line 36 and settled. The dropping organism is deposited preferably through the pipe line 36 on the water bottom 3.

When the treated water is to be discharged, the supporting arm 41 is disengaged from the pulling-up mechanism 48 and the water collecting trough is floated on the water surface of the treatment vessel 1 by a float 10 so that the water collecting trough 43 is vertically moved according to the vertical movement of water level, and the treated water 2 is discharged upwards by a submerged pump 32 installed to the water collecting trough 43. As a result, the maintenance and the inspection are easy because no structural members are always submerged in the water, and the mixed liquid is not flowed in during aeration and agitation.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a denitrification method and a denitrification apparatus of waste water by which nitrogen compounds such as nitrate nitrogen compound and nitrite nitrogen compound contained in the waste water are decomposed and reduced by effectively utilizing biodegradation action of denitrifying bacteria while maintaining inside of a treatment tank anaerobic and to provide a stirring apparatus therefor. SOLUTION: In the denitrification method of the waste water, the nitrogen compounds contained in the waste water 1 are subjected to denitrification treatment by anaerobic denitrifying bacteria. The waste water 1 containing the nitrogen compounds is introduced into a treatment tank 2 and carriers 11 holding anaerobic bacteria are dispersed in the treatment tank 2. A stirring blade 3 which is disposed at an upper part of the tank and rotation of which forms a stream discharging the waste water 1 in a horizontal direction and obliquely downward, a guide vane 4 which is disposed at a bottom part of the tank and which guides the waste water 1 mainly descending outside upward from a center and a baffle-plate 6 which is disposed above the stirring blade 3, prevent inclusion of air from a water surface to maintain anaerobic condition.
