摘要： PURPOSE:To carry out effective unbonding surface treatment to a FRP member. CONSTITUTION:Carbon fiber, araimd fiber and glass fiber which are reinforced with plastics are used as FRP members 12 being the core materials of FRP tendons 10. Various types, namely bar type, twisted wire type and braid type are used as the members 12. The synthetic resin of polyethylene or polytetrafluorethylene which is small in the coefficient of surface friction is applied to the surface of the FRP member 12 as the first layer to form a synthetic resin layer 14. Especially a polytetrafluorethylene tape is small in the coefficient of friction and easy in covering work. The outer surface of the synthetic layer 14 is covered with a plastic sheath 16, and the covered layer 14 is the outermost surface of the FRP tension member 14. The surface of the FRP member is generally nonsmooth, and especially the surface of twisted wire type or braid type FRP member 12 is large in an irregularity, but can be smoothed by the covered synthetic resin layer 14, and a slide is carried out between the synthetic resin layer 14 and the plastic sheath 16 to make unbonding practicable.

CONSTITUTION: The intermediate stock for fiber reinforced plastic molding consists of prepreg made of matrix resin-impregnated reinforcing fibers (a) or its shaped matter, which is covered with heat-shrinkable fibers (b) under the condition that a latent curing agent (c), which is granular solid at the starting temperature of the heat shrinking of the covering heat-shrinkable fiber (b), and the granular diameter of which is larger than the mean gap between the reinforcing fibers (a), is contained in the matrix resin. Further, fiber reinforced plastic molded body is manufactured by curing the intermediate stock for fiber reinforced plastic molding. Since the surface of the fiber reinforced plastic molded body manufactured as mentioned above is under uncured state, the surface can easily be modified by heat melting treatment dissolving treatment with organic solvent or the like, resulting in remarkably improving the fabrication qualities such as coating, bonding and the like.

摘要： PURPOSE: To improve adhesion to peripheral material by forming unevenness on the surface of a rod stock at the heat-curing of matrix resin by a method wherein the periphery of the uncured fiber reinforced plastic rod stock, which is made of one or more matrix resin-impregnated reinforced resin strands is covered with two kinds or more covering fibers having different factors of heat shrinkage from each other. CONSTITUTION: Uncured fiber reinforced plastic rod stock is made of one or more high strength and high elasticity inorganic or organic fiber strands impregnated with matrix resin consisting of thermoplastic resin or thermosetting resin. The uncured rod stock 1 is covered with two kinds or more covering fibers 2 and 3 having different factors of heat shrinkage from each other. Due to the difference between the factors of heat shrinkage of the respective covering fibers 2 and 3 developing at the thermal curing of the matrix resin, unevenness is formed at the surface of the rod stock 1. Thus, the fixing strength between the rod material and its peripheral material is enhanced by the improving action of adhesion through the interface of the uneven part, resulting in showing a high resistance against pulling-out.
