    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a segment transshipment conveyance device capable of conveying many segments at a time by using a simple device and shortening a conveying time of the segments.
      SOLUTION: The segment conveyance device 2 conveying four segment mounting trucks 11 to 14 on which the segments are respectively mounted up to a position wherein a hoist 3 is provided in a shield boring machine 1 is provided inside of a shield tunnel T. A setter 6 is provided to a position on the way to a conveyance path of the segment conveyance device 2 inside of the shield tunnel T. The segment conveyance device 2 is once returned to the setter's position after the segments mounted on the first and second segment mounting trucks 11 and 12 are previously unloaded by the hoist 3. The segments S1 to S6 mounted on the third and fourth segment mounting trucks 13 and 14 are transshipped on the first and second segment mounting trucks 11 and 12 by the setter 6 to convey them to the position of the hoist 3, and they are unloaded by the hoist 3.

      SOLUTION: A plurality of steel pipes 17 are jacked toward the ground from start ports provided at segments 23 of a tunnel 3, and a pipe roof 25 is formed in cylindrical shape. Freezing work 29 is then performed to cut off water in spaces of the pipe roof 25, and an excavated sediment throw-in hole 31 is formed in the ground 1 inside the pipe roof 25.
