摘要： Compounds having Formula (I), including pharmaceutically acceptable salts and prodrugs thereof: are selective inhibitors of the 11β-HSD1 enzyme. They inhibit the 11β-HSD1-mediated conversion of cortisone and other 11-keto-glucocorticoids to cortisol and other 11β-hydroxy-glucocorticoids. The 11β-HSD1 inhibitors therefore decrease the amount of cortisol in target tissues, thereby modulating the effects of cortisol. Modulation of cortisol may be effective in controlling non-insulin-dependent diabetes (NIDDM), hyperglycemia, obesity, insulin resistance, dyslipidemia, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, Syndrome X, and other symptoms associated with NIDDM or with excess cortisol in the body

摘要： A bicycle frame has a seat tube fitting to which a seat is attachable, a head tube fitting to which forks are attachable, and a bottom bracket fitting to which a crank shaft is attachable. A single frame tube of fiber reinforced polymer composite interconnects the seat tube fitting, head tube fitting, and bottom bracket fitting in a manner which provides a lightweight, and durable bicycle frame. The single frame tube is formed by disposing the seat tube fitting, head tube fitting, and bottom bracket fitting within a first mold section, then disposing a bladder covered with polymer impregnated fiber within the first mold section such that the bladder passes through openings in the seat tube fitting, head tube fitting, and bottom bracket fitting. The bladder is then inflated while the polymer impregnated fiber is heated so as to form a fiber reinforced polymer composite which conforms to the shape of the cavity formed within the mold, thereby defining the desired bicycle frame.

摘要： A method and lifting arrangement for lowering and raising a single rotor blade of a wind turbine from a six-o'clock position is provided. Lifting fixtures are symmetrically installed on a hub surface about the rotor blade being replaced. Lifting lines from coordinated ground winches pass over the lifting fixtures to support the blade and attach to a blade harness. The blade harness attaches over a substantial length of the rotor blade, distributing the blade weight broadly. A tail pick crane facilitates transfer of the rotor blade between a vertical and a horizontal position stored position.
