When line pressure is not generated due to a failure of a hydraulic pressure generation source 42 after the loss of the power supply, it is preferable that, for example, the parking lock is released in order to tow a vehicle, however at that time, since the hydraulic pressure of the accumulator 51 is released via an orifice 53, the parking lock can be released by operating the piston 27 of the hydraulic actuator 25 to the left by manual release means 39 without being intercepted by the hydraulic pressure accumulated in the accumulator 51. By automatically releasing the hydraulic pressure of the accumulator 51 via the orifice 53, it becomes unnecessary to prepare a complex mechanism for making the manual release means 39 operable without being disturbed by the hydraulic actuator 25, and then a structure can be simplified.
