摘要： A swash plate type variable displacement compressor has a housing, a drive shaft, a swash plate and a piston. The housing includes a cylinder block, a front housing, and a rear housing. The drive shaft is rotatably supported by the housing. The swash plate is connected to the drive shaft, and is integrally rotatable with the drive shaft and tiltable relative to the drive shaft. The piston engages with the swash plate through a pair of shoes. Rotation of the drive shaft is converted to reciprocation of the piston through the swash plate and the shoes, and the displacement of the compressor is adjusted by varying the inclination angle of the swash plate with respect to the axis of the drive shaft. The swash plate includes a base member made of copper series and a sliding layer coating a sliding surface of the base member with respect to the shoes.

The swash plate is located in the crank chamber and integrally rotates with the drive shaft, and varies the stroke of the pistons. The inclination of the swash plate relative to the drive shaft is varied between maximum and minimum positions. A displacement restoration spring inclines the swash plate. One end of the restoration spring fixed to a predetermined part of the drive shaft.

摘要： A single-headed piston type swash-plate-operated refrigerant compressor is provided with a swash plate mounted on a rotatable drive shaft and having front and rear opposite surfaces, single headed pistons arranged on the rear side of the swash plate to reciprocate in respective cylinder bores, and front and rear shoes to be held in slide-contact with the peripheral parts of the front and rear surfaces of the swash plate to engage a tail end part of each of the single headed pistons with the swash plate in which the front and rear surfaces of the swash plate are provided with respective uppermost layers having physical surface properties different from one another. A front uppermost and a rear uppermost layer of the swash plate are formed of a sprayed coating of, for example, a copper-base material and the rear uppermost layer is coated by a solid lubricant layer containing a solid lubricant, such as molybdenum disulfide, at least in a part of the solid lubricant. The thickness of the solid lubricant layer is measured and controlled by using the surface of the front layer as a reference plane.

摘要： In a variable displacement compressor of the invention, cylinder bores (111) and a crankcase (121) are formed in a housing, single-ended pistons (37) are fitted in the cylinder bores (111), and a cam plate (23) is provided in the crankcase (121). The displacement capacity of the compressor is varied by controlling the angle of inclination of the cam plate (23) in accordance with the difference between the internal pressure of the crankcase (121) and an suction pressure present on both sides of each single-ended piston (37). A dampening or muffler chamber (65) is provided downstream of an output channel (114) through which a refrigerant gas discharged from the cylinder bores (111) passes. A check valve (69) which opens and closes in accordance with a pressure difference between upstream and downstream sides of the output channel (114) is provided in the output channel (114), upstream of the muffler chamber (65). The present invention reduces the effects of pressure pulsations caused by the compression motion of the compressor and caused by the valve body of the open/close device hunting, has no bad effects on the external refrigerant circuit connected to the compressor, and increases the reliability of the lip seal.

摘要： A control valve is used in connection with a variable displacement compressor that varies the discharge capacity by controlling an inclination of a cam plate located in a crank chamber. The inclination of the cam plate is variable based on crank chamber pressure caused by refrigerant in the crank chamber. Monitor pressure is monitored at a predetermined point in a refrigerant circuit for causing a change in the crank chamber pressure and ultimately varying the discharge capacity. The control valve has a housing, an internal control valve mechanism and an external control valve mechanism. The internal control valve mechanism is located inside the valve housing and has a first valve body and a first reacting member. The first reacting member is connected to the first valve body for reacting to the monitor pressure to cause a change in the crank chamber pressure. The external control valve mechanism is located inside the valve housing and has a second valve body and a second reacting member. The second reacting member is for reacting to an external signal to cause the second valve body to change in the crank chamber pressure. The internal control valve mechanism and the external control valve mechanism operate independently with each other.

摘要： A variable displacement type swash plate compressor that prevents a drive shaft from moving axially when the difference between a crank chamber pressure and a cylinder bore pressure becomes excessive. A hinge mechanism has a support arm extending from a lug plate and a guide pin extends from a swash plate. The head portion of the guide pin fits in a guide hole formed in the support arm. A cutaway surface is formed in a part of the support arm that defines the guide hole. The cutaway surface forms a clearance in the hinge. The clearance permits the swash plate to move without pulling the drive shaft.
