When a sound wave is delayed by L1/c at a delay circuit 3 (L1 is a distance between a microphone 2 and a speaker 6 and (c) is a sound velocity), the sound wave from the sound source 1 and (c) is sound wave from the speaker 6 are interfered with each other and almost silenced together at a location of the speaker 6 because the sound waves are nearly of the same sound pressure and of the inverted phase. Thus, the silencing at an open space is attained with the simple device.

A control means refers to said dictionary to read the corresponding terms of high-order and/or low-order concepts out of said dictionary storing means in response to designation of the term contained in the dictionary of the storing means. The meaning hierarchy dictionary contains terms having narrower concepts as the child trees to a term having a wider concept and furthermore the grand child tress of the narrower concepts to each child tree. In such constitution, it is possible to obtain a word processor which can automatically rewrite a sentence written in a low-order concept in another sentence of a high-order concept.
