    • PURPOSE:To improve workability by determining a video material from the stored candidates of the video materials and reading out the materials in prescribed order and projecting the material. CONSTITUTION:A video material candidate segmenting part A segments the part of the video material candidates from the respective recording meia to which pictures are already recorded. Next, a video material part position determination storage part C reads out the mate rial candidate from the device 21 one by one. An operator observes a picture to be displayed on a video monitor 20 and executes aprocessing for determining the material. A picture projection part D projects the video material in the prescribed order of a projection management table memory 25. The memory 25 is reloadable. Thus, at an arbitrary point of time such as in a process to prepare work and after the work is completed, the video material can be segmented and the order to project the material can be changed through trial and error.

A desired projection time input part B inputs the desired projection time and an adjustment time calculation part C calculates the adjustment time which is the difference between the standard projection time of the video materials and the desired projection time. An adjustment storage part D is stored with adjusting methods which are given priority levels and an adjusting method selection part E selects an adjusting method to be used according to the adjustment time and the priority level of the adjusting method. Then an adjustment execution part F uses the selected adjusting method to generate town-managed video products which can be put on the screen within the desired time. Consequently, the necessary video materials can be projected within the given presentation time.

SOLUTION: When a character string and a group of patterns specified for transformation are transformed at a time, a character and pattern transforming processor, which transforms one character and pattern into the outline data defined by the information on the coordinate points expressing the straight lines and curved line segments composing the outlines by performing deformation operation, firstly adds relative positions with respect to the transformation area of each character and pattern to the outline data of all the characters and patterns in the transformation area, concerning the transformation area including the character strings and the group of graphics specified to be transformed, and then divides the outline data with the added relative positions by the size of the transformation area before performing the transformation operation for transforming one character and pattern, and thereafter, multiplies the transform-operated outline data by the size of the transformation area.
