    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To issue the passbooks of different thickness in sequence without changing the specifications of a passbook issue device by preparing a weight which adds the pressing force to a friction member and a link mechanism which can move the weight only in the vertical direction. SOLUTION: The passbooks 1 are separately carried to a common carrier path 3 via a pressing part 10 between a friction roller 8 provided on the extension line set on the surface of a tray 5 and a retard pad 9 serving as a friction member. A pressing weight attached on a support member of the pad 9 adds the pressing force to the roller 8 and the pad 9. The pressing force of the pad 9 is secured by a link mechanism consisting of the pressing weight, the member 9, etc. Thus, the pressing force is kept constant despite the change of thickness of the passbooks 1. Furthermore, the passbooks 1 never suffer the antiplane deformations since the part 10 is prepared between the roller 8 and the pad 9 on the extension line led from the hopper 2.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the leakage of the heat from a heating resistor via an electrode in the printing of an image by a constitution wherein a thickness of each thin film of a common electrode and individual electrodes in an area right beneath or in the vicinity of the heating resistor is smaller than that of the other section. CONSTITUTION:For example, a width of a heating resistor 1 is about 190-240mum and a pitch L of individual electrodes 3 is about 125mum. When printing on a thermal paper using a thermal head, a supply voltage is applied to a common electrode 2 and an individual electrode 3 corresponding to a pixel dot to be colored is grounded. Thereby, an electric current flows into the grounded individual electrode 3 from both of the adjacent common electrodes 2 through the heating resistor 1, then the heating resistor 1 adjacent to the grounded individual electrode 3 is heated so that any point on the paper can be heated. At that time, the heat leaks out via the electrodes 2, 3. In order to prevent the leakage, the electrode is so constituted that the thickness of the film indicated by slanted lines of the electrode is smaller than that of the other section thereof.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent faulty printing due to the creases of an ink film by a method wherein the title device is so structured that the ink film is transferred to a heat sensitive head through a transfer passage different from another transfer passage, through which a recording paper is transferred to the heat sensitive head. CONSTITUTION:A roller 2 is provided with a tension force providing mechanism for preventing the generation of drooping or creases of an ink film 1 until the film arrives at a heat sensitive recording head 5 while another roller 2b is provided with another tension providing mechanism for separating a recording paper 6 from the ink film 1 and reeling them. Further, the title device is provided with a mechanism for rotating a platen roller 7 whereby the ink film 1 and the recording paper 6 are transferred. In this case, the ink film 1 will never be connected with the recording paper 6 until they arrive at the heat sensitive head 5 and, therefore, the ink film 1 will never receive any force from the recording paper 6. As a result, creases will never be generated on the ink film 1 and normal printing may be effected.
