    • A device for measuring a flowing air quantity is proposed which comprises a sensor element which is exposed to the flowing air, is constructed in thick-film technology and contains a heating film resistor (R.sub.H), which is arranged on an insulating substrate (10) and through which current flows, and a sensor film resistor (R.sub.S) which is likewise arranged on the insulating substrate (10), serves to sense the temperature of the heating film resistor (R.sub.H) and is a component of a bridge circuit. The heating film resistor (R.sub.H) and the sensor film resistor (R.sub.S), separated from one another by an intermediate film (13) which is a good conductor of heat but is electrically insulating, are accommodated in a bubble (11) which is made of ceramic material, in particular of glass ceramic, and is arched on the insulating substrate (10). The thin diaphragm (14) made of a ceramic material ensures effective thermal uncoupling of the film resistors (R.sub.H, R.sub.S) from the insulating substrate (10). Short response times are thereby achieved.

    • The holder (1) for an electronic component (20), especially a hybrid module, is preferably a unitary plastic element having an elongated base plate (2) formed with openings (14) therein to permit insertion of terminal pins or lugs (21) projecting from the component therethrough. Two holder arms (30) project from the base plate, the holder arms having module support portions (3) and oppositely projecting posts (4). The posts fit into receiving openings (26, 27) of a printed circuit board, which receiving openings having a spacing (S) which is greater than the distance (D) between the posts so that, upon insertion of the posts in the openings the arms (30) will tilt towards each other, thus clamping a module, typically in card or board form, between the module support (3) of the arms. The holder can also form a transport holder for the module, by forming, for example, in the module a notch spaced from the upper edge, and engaging the notch (22) with a projecting rim (9) formed on the upper ends of the support portions (3) of the arms, the notch being so spaced that the terminal lugs or pins (21) then just fit into the openings (14) in the base plate, thereby protecting the pins against damage.

    • A multi-phase generator has a separately excited shunt field which is controlled by a voltage regulator. A free-wheeling diode is connected in parallel with the field. The voltage regulator is included in a single, hermetically sealed housing which has a metal base plate forming one terminal of the voltage regulator; two insulated terminals project from the voltage regulator and are sealed, in insulated relation, through the housing, preferably the base plate. Three monolithic semi-conductor integrated circuit (IC) chips are located within the sealed housing, two of them soldered to the base plate so that one of the semi-conductor connections of the chip are directly connected to the base plate, the connection being for the collector of the power transistor and the anode of the free-wheeling diode, the control portion of the voltage regulator being secured to a ceramic plate which is attached to the base plate, other terminals from the voltage regulator are being effected internally, by bonding wires, and to the two externally excessible contacts, so that the entire assembly is simple, readily manufactured, and requires little assembly, labor and time for connection to an alternator structure.
