摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily, speedily and correctly measure a gaseous chemical species in a gas mixture, by adapting a sensor film containing an indicator substance to change an absorption characteristic to electromagnetic beams when the indicator substance comes in contact with a gas or gas mixture. SOLUTION: A detector 12 is arranged at the opposite side to an electromagnetic beam source 11, e.g. an LED having a specific wavelength. A support 13 passing electromagnetic beams and a gas transmission type sensor film 14 are mounted. The sensor film 14 contains an indicator substance sensitive to a specific gas. When a measurement gas enters a space between the electromagnetic beam source 11 and the detector 12, the indicator substance changes an absorption characteristic to a wavelength of the electromagnetic beams colliding therewith. The wavelength corresponds to an absorption maximum of the indicator substance at least partially. The detector 12 arranged behind the sensor film 14 and support 13 records a transmittance chance. A height when an absorbance is maximum, namely, a size of the transmittance is proportional to a gas concentration.
