    • Proposed is an anti-blocking return-feed hydraulic brake system with a flow-control valve (20) fitted as the inlet valve. The flow-control valve (20) has a metering orifice (35) and a master-cylinder connection (64) and pump connection (63). The cross-sectional areas of these connections vary as a function of the position of a piston (22), which is controlled by the pressure drop across the metering orifice (35). During slip control, the master-cylinder connection (64) is shut off or restricted and the pump connection (63) controlled in accordance with the operation of the flow-control valve. This measure has the advantage that, during a brake-pressure control operation, the master cylinder (1) is disassociated from the hydraulic braking circuit, thus ensuring that the slip-control operation is not felt at the brake pedal.
