Therefore, even if the return pipe 19 or the like is damaged by an accident, prevention of the leakage of the fuel in the fuel tank 2 can be certainly enhanced.

Ice generated in gasifying the gas and adhering to the injection port 22 and the inner peripheral side of the cylindrical part 15 is shaken off or scraped off to be removed by the vibration of the plate part 20 caused by the vibration of the valve 18.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel feeder capable of improving starting performance of aninternal combustion engine while waste of a battery is restrained at a low cost. SOLUTION: When an ignition signal IG is on, a fuel pump 11 is driven. A passage selector valve 15 is turned on during a second set time T2, and a pressure regulator 16 is by-passed by a by-pass pipe 17. By this arrangement, vaporized fuel in a pipe is discharged. After the lapse of the second set time, a starter motor for starting the internal combustion engine is driven in response to ON of the starter signal. In the case when the starter signal is not turned on in the lapse of the first set time T1 after the ignition signal IG is turned on, the fuel pump 11 is stopped. After that, when the ignition signal IG is on, and the temperature of fuel in a delivery pipe 20 is higher than the temperature of fuel in the fuel tank 10 by a set value DH or larger value, the fuel pump 11 is again driven by the third set time.

SOLUTION: A vapor discharge passage 11 led out of the pump chamber 10b of a fuel pump 10 through a vapor jet 10a communicates with the upper part of a fuel tank 2. The vapor produced in the pump chamber 10b in the operation of the fuel pump is thereby pushed out to the vapor discharge passage 11 via the vapor jet 10a and discharged to the upper part of the fuel tank 2 distant from the fuel inlet 10c. Consequently, the vapor is not sucked again into the pump chamber 10b from the fuel inlet 10c, so that the occurrence of vapor lock in the pump chamber 10b can be suppressed to prevent a lowering of pump efficiency.

SOLUTION: The fuel tank 2 is provided with a sub-fuel tank 15 communicated therewith through a communication pipe 17, and a manual valve 18 (communication valve) is mounted for opening and closing the communication pipe 17. When the internal pressure of the fuel tank 2 is higher than the predetermined pressure the manual valve 18 is opened when the internal pressure of the fuel tank 2 is reduced lower than the filling pressure, the valve 18 is closed to charge the fuel. As the valve 18 is opened or closed again after filling, the pressure in the fuel tank 2 can be reduced, and the filling performance of the fuel can be improved with a simple structure.
