    • A thin film transistor substrate and an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) comprising the same are provided to offer a high-capacitance DC/DC converter mounted on a substrate without requiring a wide area. An LCD has a display area and a non-display area surrounding the display area. The LCD comprises a first substrate, a second substrate facing the first substrate, and a liquid crystal layer positioned between the first substrate and the second substrate. The first substrate includes a first insulating substrate(111). A gate line and a data line are formed above the first insulating substrate. A pixel thin film transistor is formed in the display area. The pixel thin film transistor is electrically connected to the gate line and the data line. A pixel electrode is electrically connected to the pixel thin film transistor. A gate driver is formed in the non-display area. The gate driver is connected to the gate line. A DC/DC converter is formed in the non-display area. The DC/DC converter includes a converter thin film transistor and a capacitance part. The capacitance part includes a first capacitance part(Cc1) and a second capacitance part(Cc2). The first capacitance part includes a first electrode(136), a first dielectric layer(114) formed on the first electrode, and a second electrode(145) formed on the first dielectric layer. The second capacitance part includes the second electrode, a second dielectric layer formed on the second electrode, and a third electrode(152) formed on the second dielectric layer.

    • An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel and an LCD including the same are provided to mount a driving member on the LCD panel by a chip-on glass manner so that the component mounting space is not needed. A TFT(Thin Film Transistor) array is formed on a TFT substrate(40). A color filter substrate(60) is formed on the upper portion of the TFT substrate. A liquid crystal is formed between the TFT substrate and the color filter substrate. A driving member is formed on the TFT substrate and drives the TFT. The driving member includes a driving IC(Integrated Circuit)(100). A subsidiary IC(110) produces a power signal, a data signal and a control signal. The driving member is formed by a chip-on-glass manner. An LCD panel(50) displays an image. A back light assembly supplies the light beam to the LCD panel. The driving member drives the LCD panel. A connection member connects the driving member with the main power. The connection member is a flexible printed circuit with a signal line.

A control terminal of the first transistor is connected to a contact point between the second and fourth transistors, and a control terminal of the second transistor is connected to a contact point between the first and third transistors.

    • A liquid crystal display(LCD) panel, and a method and an apparatus for driving the LCD panel are provided to display an image with uniform gray scale by reducing the output deviation between data lines. A driving apparatus for an LCD panel includes a data driver(102). The LCD panel includes pixels, which are composed of plural sub-pixels. The number of the sub-pixels is the same as the number of color filters for different colors multiplied by 2^n, where n is a natural number. The data driver supplies a pixel data signal to the sub-pixels. The data driver supplies one of logic high and logic low voltages of the pixel data signal to the respective sub-pixels. The data driver includes a shift register(112) and a latch(114). The shift register supplies a sampling signal in sequence. The latch latches the pixel data signal in sequence, in response to the sampling signal and simultaneously outputs the latched result to the data lines.
