    • An apparatus for driving a display device is provided to simplify a driving circuit by varying a data type using only a latch. An apparatus for driving a display device includes a signal controller and a data driver. The signal controller processes image data, and the data driver converts a type of the image data and supplies a data voltage corresponding to the image data to data signals. The data driver includes plural data drive ICs(Integrated Circuit). Each of the data drive ICs includes a shift register(541), a latch(542), a level shifter(543), a digital to analog converter(544), a buffer(545) and a transmission gate(546). The latch receives the image data from the shift register according to a shift clock. The level shifter, digital to analog converter, and buffer are sequentially connected to the latch. The transmission gate is connected to the buffer.

A reset signal is applied to a control terminal of the NMOS transistor. An input terminal of a delay unit(336) is connected to an output terminal of the switch and outputs an adjustment signal.
