    • A cleaning device for contact lenses includes a housing having a cleaning chamber, a stirring device for generating a liquid flow within the cleaning chamber, a heating device for boiling a liquid in the cleaning chamber, a feeding device for feeding the liquid into the cleaning chamber, a discharging device, a feeding amount detecting device for detecting a feeding amount of the liquid which is fed into the cleaning chamber, an operation controlling device for giving a signal to the stirring device, the heating device, the feeding device and the discharging device in response to the feeding amount of the liquid detected by the feeding amount detecting device, respectively and for performing a cleaning process, plural rinsing processes and a boil process. The feeding amount detecting device has a binary output type of liquid level sensor which detects a single liquid level in order to control a first feeding amount in the cleaning process, the last rinsing process and the boil process and a feeding timer which detects a feeding time for controlling a second feeding amount in the other of rinsing processes to be smaller than the first feeding amount. It is thus possible to decrease the consumption rate of the liquid without increasing the size of the device and complicating the structure of the device.

    • A cleaning device for contact lens which includes a housing having a cleaning chamber which is provided with a container chamber, a container disposed in the container chamber and forming a lens receiving chamber which receives contact lenses therein and a stirring device for generating a rising liquid flow which rises toward to the container chamber and is disposed at a lower side of the container. The container has plural passage holes which communicate between an inside of the lens receiving chamber and outside of the lens receiving chamber. At least one of the passage holes opens diagonally and downwardly as regard to the lens receiving chamber so as to introduce the rising liquid flow into the lens receiving chamber. Since the rising liquid flow flows diagonally from below into the lens receiving chambers via the passage holes, the contact lenses are gently floated in the lens receiving chamber so as to separate from the wall surface of the lens receiving chamber. Accordingly, it is possible to effectively clean the contact lenses without damaging the contact lenses.

    • A washing device for parts of human body for use in a flush toilet which includes essentially a cylinder, a shaft and a water tank. The cylinder has a water supplying orifice and incorporates the shaft in the bore formed therein. The shaft comprises a shaft body and a control axis which is coaxially mounted in the bore of the shaft body. The shaft body has, at one end, a water spouting nozzle and an inflow orifice communicating a water passage to the water inlet port of the cylinder, and has, at the other end, a lever to rotate the whole shaft body. By operation of the lever, water spouting nozzle is movable to or from its inoperative rest position. An amount of washing water to be spouted is controlled by adjusting a sectional area of the water passage. This adjustment is effected by axial movement of the control axis which is provided with a tapered valve portion at one end and is provided with one operating knob at the other end thereof. The knob protrudes from one extremity of the shaft body.

    • An apparatus for accommodating an electrical cord in a heated toilet seat having a toilet seat body and a base cover pivotally connected to each other, wherein an electrical cord adapted for electrical connection between a heater mounted within the toilet seat body and a controller therefore is secured at one by a grommet provided on the base cover and at the other end by a cord fastener in the toilet seat body.
