    • A dual-tube shock absorber having a damping piston, which is joined to a vehicle body via a piston rod; an inner cylinder, guiding the damping piston, that is disposed in an outer cylinder which is connected to the vehicle axle and that together with the damping piston encloses an upper and a lower liquid-filled pressure chamber; a check valve which enables a liquid flow from an compensation chamber enclosed by the outer and inner cylinders to the lower pressure chamber; and a line, joining the upper pressure chamber to the compensation chamber, in which line a device is disposed that effects the damping of the shock absorber and is preferably electrically adjustable. To assure a long service life of the device, which is preferably embodied as a throttle valve, and to facilitate the laying of control cables, the line is extended through the damping piston, and the device is integrated with the damping piston.

    • The analyzer circuit includes a first oscillator producing an output signal having a first frequency depending on an inductance of an inductive position sensor having two oscillator coils positioned near a movable part; a switching device in the first oscillator for alternatingly connecting one of the two coils and simultaneously disconnecting the other according to a state of the switching device; a frequency divider for converting the output signal at the first frequency to another output signal at another frequency; a counter for counting a pulse signal under control of the other output signal of the frequency divider; a second oscillator connected to the counter and providing input pulses at a fixed frequency to the counter, which counts the input pulses under control of the other output signal of the frequency divider; a start synchronizing circuit for starting and synchronizing the divider and the counter; a flip-flop connected to the frequency divider and to the switching device to switch the state of the switching device; and an arithmetic-logic unit connected to the counter to receive a count from it and having a device for generating a digital output signal characteristic of a position of the movable part relative to the oscillator coils according to the count.

    • A vibration motor having a disk-shaped stator containing a piezoelectric excitation system, a disk-shaped rotor aligned parallel to the stator and mounted on a driven shaft in a manner fixed against relative rotation, and a pressing element that presses the rotor and stator together axially. To assure free travel of the driven shaft when the motor is currentless, the pressing element is embodied as a force-transmitting element that changes shape as a function of temperature, for instance a compression spring of memory metal. In motor operation, the element is kept at a temperature above its temperature point for the shape change, and it is disposed such that the pressing force between the rotor and stator diminishes as a result of the shape change ensuing if the temperature drops below this temperature point.
