    • An input current flowing into a current-voltage conversion circuit (1) is converted to a voltage value at an output terminal SAIN and, then, a differential amplification circuit (5) amplifies and outputs a differential voltage between the voltage value and the reference voltage Vref. PMOS and NMOS transistors T1, T2 are connected between the output terminal SAIN and the power-supply voltage VCC. After the output terminal SAIN is precharged to the power-supply voltage VCC by making the transistors conductive, the current-voltage conversion operation is performed by making a voltage drop corresponding to the input current. The precharge operation precharges the output terminal SAIN up to the power-supply voltage VCC and supplies precharge to a common data line N3 and bit lines.

    • An autohandler for supplying a lot of feed trays carrying samples and for removing a lot of return trays loaded with tested samples. A loading mechanism has a feed tray elevator containing samples to be tested. An unloading mechanism has a return tray elevator for receiving return trays containing tested samples. An empty tray storage unit stores empty trays. A tray transfer hand transfers the trays. A sensor detects the feed tray elevator position. The sensor actuates an alarm when the feed tray elevator is almost empty.

    • Systems, methods, and circuits for command control for synchronous memory device are disclosed. In one embodiment, a memory device comprises a first synchronous memory controlled by a second group of commands which includes a first command receiving section for receiving a first group of commands, and a second command receiving section for receiving a command that is unique to the first synchronous memory and different from the first group of commands during execution of the first group of commands received by the first command receiving section. The synchronous memory further comprises a second synchronous memory controlled by the first group of commands, where the first synchronous memory and the second synchronous memory are coupled to a same data bus, and where the second group of commands is different from the first group of commands.
