      SOLUTION: The toner is produced as follows; an organic solvent phase in which at least functional group-containing polyester resin is dissolved, an active hydrogen-containing compound and a colorant are dispersed into an aqueous medium phase in which resin fine particles are dispersed, thereby, extension reaction and/or crosslinking reaction between the functional group-containing polyester resin and the active hydrogen-containing compound is allowed to occur and, from dispersion liquid obtained through the reaction, particles are formed. The image forming method comprises a developing process of using an electrostatic image developing toner produced by adding a tertiary amine compound into the organic solvent phase as a developer and a fixing process of using a fixing means of the electromagnetic induction heating system.
