      SOLUTION: The toner for electrostatic charge latent image development contains a binder resin, a colorant and a releasing agent, wherein the binder resin comprises a polyester resin (a) having crystallinity and no polyhydroxy carboxylic acid skeleton comprising an optically active monomer and a resin (b) having the polyhydroxy carboxylic acid skeleton. The polyhydroxy carboxylic acid skeleton in the resin (b) has an optical purity X(%)=|X(L-form)-X(D-form)| of not more than 80% calculated on the monomer basis. In above expression, X(L-form) and X(D-form) represent a L-form ratio (mol%) and a D-form ratio (mol%), respectively, calculated on the optically active monomer basis.
