The hoisting assembly (Ι ΙΑ,Ι ΙΒ) is supported by the support structure (16) and configured with the support member (34) so as to space apart the flexible members (24A- 24C) from each other, and wherein each flexible member (24A-24C) defines an oblique angle with the reference axis (40) parallel to the vertical reference axis.

    • A watercraft lift for raising and lowering a watercraft in water, including a buoyant pontoon, a lifting cradle and at least one pivot arm. The lifting cradle includes at least one air tank and a support bunk configured to receive and support the watercraft. The air tank has an internal chamber configured to receive and release pressurized air. The internal chamber has sufficient internal volume that when sufficient pressurized air is received therein the air tank has sufficient buoyancy to lift the lifting cradle to a raised position with the watercraft out of the water when positioned on the support bunk and that when sufficient pressurized air is released from the internal chamber the air tank loses sufficient buoyancy to sink the lifting cradle to a lowered position sufficiently submerged to receive and deploy the watercraft. The pivot arm is pivotally connected to the pontoon and pivotally connected to the lifting cradle to guide movement of the lifting cradle between the lowered position and the raised position.

    • Device for the handling and storage of boats in a vertical dry dock. The boats (16) are removed from the water (7) via forks (13) which slide in a sliding fork-shaped system (12) carrying a cradle (10). The forks are displaced via a motor driven rack and pinion (14) system. The run of the rack and pinion system is limited by sensors (5 et 20). The entire mechanism is supported by a structure (8) which carries a tower (9) and a sliding fork-shaped system (12) that enables the cradles (10) to be deposited in berths (2, 2a). A rolling bridge (6) enables the entire assembly to be moved along X, Y and Z axes. The device is specifically useful for vertical dry dock management of boats, allowing the latter to be removed from the water and stored safely, or removed from storage and placed onto the water, as needed.

    • A drive-on watercraft lift (10) has removable/replaceable bunks (50, 80). The bunks are configured to define two rails (64,66; 94a,b). In one embodiment, one rail (64) is higher than the other rail (66). This bunk with rails of different heights can be positioned on the body of the lift with either rail facing inwardly, such that the lift can be configured to receive watercraft of different sizes. In a second embodiment, the bunk (80) has a ramp (84) positioned to extend rearwardly from the back of the lift body when the bunk is mounted to the lift body. The bunk ramp (84) provides a sacrificial point of first contact for of a watercraft with the lift and provides for a softer ride for the watercraft onto the lift.
