摘要： Installed in the washing stations are longitudinally displaceable portals (3) equipped with washing brushes (2), which are entrained for washing the front and rear surfaces of the vehicle. On the rear surfaces the portal (3) is propelled with a partial acceleration. The portal movements are controlled by the portal control system (15) according to the brush torque, the variable traction speed and vehicle contour. The portal drive is in the from of three-phase motors (12) which are actuated by the portal control system (15) via a frequency converter (14) with a ramp circuit. To initiate the accelerated portal movement the various basic shapes of the body are differentiated according to the position of the relevant rear edge (8). For this, contour recognition is performed with light barriers (9).

摘要： A reversing wiper motor system has a first detector including a detectant which rotates in syndronism with the wiper. The detector physically identifies a plurality of distinct angular zones across the entire range of motion of the wiper, including a wiper park zone, a wiping zone, and wiper out-ofbound zone. A second detector detects incremental movement of the wiper within any given zone. Control circuitry controls the direction of the motor based on the detected zone and the incremental motion of the wiper therein. The system enables the wiper to be located upon power-up.

摘要： A car wash device includes a vessel, pump, brush, hose, flow control device and fittings. The brush has a nozzle. The hose is matable to the brush and to the vessel. The brush is matable to both the hose for the vessel and a high pressure water source. A flow control device has a low pressure position for use when the brush is mated to the vessel and a high pressure position when the brush is mated to the high pressure water source. Liquid may be pressurized by the pump and flow from the vessel and through the nozzle for use when the flow control device is in the low pressure position. Alternatively, water flows from the high pressure water source through the nozzle for use when the flow control device is in the high pressure position. A brush for the car wash device is also provided.

摘要： The invention relates to a wiper blade (10) that is used to clean the glass surfaces (18) of motor vehicles. Said wiper blade (10) is provided with an elongated, spring-support element (16). An elongated, rubber-elastic wiper edge (20) that can be placed on the glass surface is mounted on the side of said support element that faces the glass surface and in parallel to the longitudinal axis thereof.
