摘要： A dental hygiene tool (110) particularly adapted for cleaning and treating dental spaces, surfaces and other areas including interproximal surfaces, orthodontic appliances, bridgework, crowns, surgical sites, implants and periodontal pockets and for gently massaging and compressing gingival tissues and to help reduce infiamation and pocket depth, in a single device. The tool comprises a conical, hollow, compressible and expansive tip (113) made of elastomeric material and having a pointed end (125) dimensioned to penetrate interproximal spaces. Rows of pointed spicules (114) of the same material project radially from the outer surface (123) of the tip in progressively diminishing sizes from the base of the conical tip to its apex. The tip is mounted to the distal end (120) of a handle (115) upon a reinforcing prong (111) to limit the collapsibility of the tip, and provide better ability to guide the tip to a desired location. The handle can be made hollow having a channel (109) connected to a pulsating source of fluid causing the tip to alternately inflate and retract providing a vibrating massage to the contacted areas. Small bores in the tip or spouts (121) on the distal end (120) of the handle (115) can squirt a lubricating, cleansing and/or therapeutic agent loaded liquid.

摘要： The brush has sets of relatively reciprocably displaceable bristles which are straddled about a row of teeth, transverse thereof, and applied to the opposing faces of the teeth by means of a pair of paddle-headed tweezer-like rods which are semi-rigid and discrete from one another, but hingedly interconnected with one another so that they can be held in unison as a handle while being rotated in relation to one another about an axis extending substantially parallel to the mutually adjacent sides thereof. As they are applied to the faces of the teeth, the bristle may also be translated along the length of the row; and if so, the bristle may be equipped with a pair of picks, which are used to locate the gum lines of the teeth and steer the bristle while raking the gum lines themselves. Moreover, in such a case, the picks may have thin flanges extending relatively toward one another, to provide fillet-like gussets with which to stabilize the picks against splay when they are traced along the gum lines. The brush lends itself to being packaged and shelved in compact form, and if desired, as a disposable brush, that is, as one to be put to use a time or two and then thrown away. For example, it can be fabricated as a thin, flat item which has a cross hinge so that it can be reentrantly folded onto itself, longitudinally thereof, for compactness.

摘要： An oral care system and method wherein a dispenser is mounted to the handle of an oral care implement, such as a toothbrush. The dispenser holds an oral care material and is alterable between a storage state wherein a dispending end of the dispenser nests within the handle and an application state wherein the dispensing end of the dispenser is un-nested and exposed for oral care use. In one aspect, the invention is an oral care system comprising: an oral care implement comprising a head, a handle having a longitudinal axis, and one or more oral surface engaging elements; a dispenser having a reservoir containing an oral care material and an applicator for dispensing the oral care material from the reservoir; the dispenser alterable between: (i) a storage state wherein the applicator or the dispensing end of the dispenser is nested within the handle; and (ii) an application state wherein the applicator or the dispensing end is un-nested from the handle and exposed for oral care use.

摘要： A car wash device includes a vessel, pump, brush, hose, flow control device and fittings. The brush has a nozzle. The hose is matable to the brush and to the vessel. The brush is matable to both the hose for the vessel and a high pressure water source. A flow control device has a low pressure position for use when the brush is mated to the vessel and a high pressure position when the brush is mated to the high pressure water source. Liquid may be pressurized by the pump and flow from the vessel and through the nozzle for use when the flow control device is in the low pressure position. Alternatively, water flows from the high pressure water source through the nozzle for use when the flow control device is in the high pressure position.
