The invention furthermore relates to reaction particles 13 as such. It is proposed to use as reaction particles 13 essentially planar particles with a thickness of about 5 mu m to about 1500 mu m and an area of about 5 (mm)2 to about 1000 (mm)2. Reaction particles 13 can be used, e.g., as growth surface for biomass. In particular, they can be introduced in a waste-water reactor 1 and thoroughly mixed with the waste water. Reaction particles 13 have a very high specific surface, which, moreover, is easily accessible. Furthermore, reaction particles 13 can be easily set in motion, e.g., by a stirrer 12.

摘要： Method for agglomerating fine-grained particulate material, in which the particle surfaces first are coated with a first water-insoluble binder in liquid phase, the particle surfaces having greater affinity to the first binder than possibly present water and/or other liquids. The fine-grained particulate material is mixed immediately before or within an agglomerating device with at least one other binder in solid phase, which together with the first binder forms a stable binding phase and are shaped to agglomerates. The second binder may have a surface coating with greater affinity to the first binder than other present liquids, said surface coating delaying the binding reaction. The invention also relates to an agglomerate produced according to the method.

摘要： A process is disclosed for briquetting and granulating under pressure fine grained inorganic substances, in particular metallurgical dusts, iron chips, wheel swarf, quick lime, plaster and inorganic fertilizers. The briquets or granules are stored for the purpose of waste products disposal or preferably are supplied to an efficient recycling process. The object of the invention is to obtain very solid briquets or granules with a reduced amount of binder and at the same time to improve the stability of the pressing process. For that purpose, very finely comminuted paper fibers are added to the materials to be briquetted and the homogeneous mixture of materials is compressed into briquets under compression pressures above 60 MPa.
