    • The invention relates to transport means, in particular to roller-skates usable for sport activities and a man transport on different types of road surfaces. The inventive roller-skates are used as alternative transport means with respect to a bicycle. Said roller-skates comprises rollers (3, 9) mounted on a base (1) and foot-fixing means and is characterised in that the roller-skates are embodied in such a way that they are engageable and disengageable with respect to each other. The roller-skates comprise a pivotally arranged footrest (11) which is cinematically connected to at least one roller (9) by means of a free wheel (12), the front roller (3) is shifted to the inside of the skate with respect to the footrest (11). The roller-skates are provided with an overturn torque compensating device in the form of additional front (56) and rear (46) rollers. The brake is embodied in the form of a pedal (14) which is pivotally connected to the footrest (11) in such a way that said footrest is contactable with the rear roller (9). Each skate can be provided with a non-manually operated drive (119), for example with an engine in the form of a thermal machine or an electric drive.
