摘要： Activity metrics may be recorded with granularity to allow a user to view performance information specific to particular times of an activity session. Accordingly, in one example, activity metrics may be detected and recorded for a minimum time unit that may be automatically defined or defined by a user. The metrics may then be conveyed to a user through a display or through audible content. Users may be able to select portions of the activity session to store based on the granular performance information. Content files such as audio or video or athletic performance data files may be cropped based on the selected portions.

摘要： A storage medium for storing text-based subtitle data including style information, a reproducing apparatus and methods are provided for reproducing text-based subtitle data including style information separately recorded on the storage medium. The storage medium includes: multimedia image data; and text-based subtitle data for displaying subtitles on an image based on the multimedia image data, wherein the text-based subtitle data includes dialog information indicating subtitle contents to be displayed on the image, style information indicating an output style of the dialog information, and partial style information indicating an output style applied to a portion of the dialog information. Accordingly, subtitles can be provided in a plurality of languages without limited to the number of units of subtitle data. In addition, subtitle data can be easily produced and edited. Likewise, an output style of the subtitle data can be changed in a variety of ways. Also, a special style can be applied in order to emphasize a portion of the subtitles.

The computer (22) includes a program that provides a grid of display windows, each of which displays an image received from the camera associated with that window. The program sequentially polls each camera, accessing and displaying an images from the camera in its associated window. The program can access the cameras (24) at different frame rates. The program stores image streams in a single file, concatenating each successive image onto the end of the file. The file is then indexed using SOI and EOI markers to permit fast access to individual images within the file. The program can monitor received video and automatically start recording upon detecting motion within the video stream. Motion detection is implemented by comparing color component values for pixels from different images.

摘要： The invention relates to the synchronous reproduction of parallel, digital video images stored in a video image recording device (4), said images being supplied by two or more video cameras (1, 2), said video cameras having different recording speeds. Said synchronous reproduction is achieved by selecting one video camera as the master camera (1) for chronological reference purposes. During retrieval of the stored video images from the different video cameras, at the actual time correlating with the reproduced video images from the "master" camera is compared at any given moment with the times corresponding with the stored video images from the other video camera (2). The stored video image of the other video cameras which is chronologically closest to the time of the video image of the master' camera is always chosen for reproduction in a display field (5, 6) assigned to the corresponding video camera. The method according to the invention can be utilized in a surveillance system, in which a room or part of a room can be surveyed from different perspectives by locating video cameras in different positions.

摘要： A system that relates annotations captured at an event and continuous signal recordings, such as video recordings, of the event in such as way that once the recordings and annotations are distributed to a remote site, an operator does not have to manually identify the time intervals of individual segments that are identified in the annotations. Prior to distribution to the remote sites, the annotations that are collected for the event are processed to identify a series of time segments, including a time interval of the signal recordings. The time reference for these identified time intervals is based on the signal recordings themselves, for example, being relative to a time reference marks that are introduced into the video recordings before they are distributed to the remote site, or being based on a recorded time signal. At the remote sites, the time references for the video recordings are determined, for example by locating the time reference marks, and the distributed annotations are used to automatically segment the video recordings.
