A plurality of circuit elements connected in the signal loop, the plurality of circuit elements comprising a frequency tunable resonator, and an adjustable scaling block that applies a gain factor that is adjustable in a range that comprises a positive gain and a negative gain. A controller is connected to 1) tune the frequency tunable resonator; and to 2) adjust the gain factor of the adjustable scaling block between a negative gain factor to a positive gain factor providing for variable Q independent of frequency.

摘要： The present invention relates to a filter circuit and more particularly to an improved technique for arranging electronic components in a filter. The invention is a filter which uses one or more piezo-crystal devices (680) linked to a differential amplifier (500). The transfer function of the filter is tuned by the arrangement of capacitors, resistors, and inductors, between the signal input (640) and the positive input (540) and the negative input (520) of the amplifier (500), as well as by the arrangement of the resistors, capacitors, and inductors in the negative feedback path. The resistors, capacitors, and inductors to achieve a desired transfer function can be determined by calculation utilizing the transfer function equation. The stray capacitance neutralizing filter circuit can be used in a communication or signaling system.

摘要： A radio device and a method to operate a non-heterodyne receiver are provided. The radio device is configured to receive a signal waveform and to provide a wake-up signal to a second communication circuit when the signal waveform is a valid communication request; wherein the second communication circuit switches from a power saving state to an operating state upon receiving the wake-up signal from the non-heterodyne receiver. The non-heterodyne receiver further including an Electromagnetic interference (EMI) rejection circuit, including a narrow band filter and a broadband filter to reject an EMI signal. A filter circuit for a narrow passband circuit is also provided. The filter including a buffer circuit; a crystal oscillator coupled to the output of the buffer circuit; and an inverting amplifier coupled in parallel to the crystal oscillator.

摘要： A circuit and method for filtering a signal. An amplifie (330) r receives an input signal (310) and generates a differential output signal. A first resonator (340) having series and parallel resonant frequencies is connected to the positive output port (335) of the amplifier. A second resonato (350) r having series and parallel resonant frequencies is connected to the negative output port (336) of the amplifier. The first and second resonators are coupled at a connection point (340). A buffering device (370) receives the combined outputs of the resonators and outputs a filtered signal. The filtering method receives signals and passes them through the elements of the filter circuit to generate a filtered output signal.
