The machine (12) responsively pumps a matching volume of new ATF into the transmission so that dry running of the transmission cannot occur. If the supply of new ATF runs out or if power to the service machine (12) is interrupted, the machine reverts to closed loop fluid circulation for the transmission. A hydraulic rectifier (42) provides for universal connection of hoses between the transmission cooler fluid circulation loop (39) of the vehicle (10) and the service machine (12). An electrically driven assistance pump (94) allows the service of vehicles which have low-flow or low-pressure transmission pumps.

Also part of the present invention is an apparatus for the preparation of a cylinder oil, comprising a blending means for blending used oil and fresh cylinder oil, characterized in that the blending means is in flow communication with at least one compartment of an internal combustion engine that comprises used oil or at least one storage compartment comprising used oil, at least one storage compartment for fresh cylinder oil, and at least one cylinder of an internal combustion engine. A further aspect of the present invention is the use of used oil and fresh cylinder oil for the preparation of cylinder oil. The processes, apparatus and uses of the present invention are especially provided for the use with two-stroke crosshead engines installed on a ship.

摘要： A method and apparatus for recycling waste lubrication oil for reuse as fuel oil includes a fuel pump (12) fluidly coupled to a source of fuel oil (18) and fluidly feeding a flow meter (30) which is electrically coupled to a control circuit (50). A waste oil pump (20) is fluidly coupled to a waste oil source (28) and to at least one depth media filter (22) and is electrically coupled to the control circuit (50). The outputs of the flow meter (30) and the depth media filter (22) are fluidly coupled to a static mixer (34) which is fluidly coupled to a coalescer (40). The output of the coalescer (40) supplies a clean dehydrated blend of fuel oil and waste oil. The control circuit (50) adjusts the flow rate of the waste oil pump (20) according to the flow meter (30) and a pre-selected ratio of fuel oil to waste oil in infinite increments from 0 to 10 %.
