    • Joint for door frames or similar profiles, like window casements and frames, picture frames etc., in which the profiles (1, 2) that are to be jointed form an angle between themselves or a direct extension to each other.     • The invention relates to building construction, more specifically to the structure of windows and doors and the elements thereof. Said invention makes it possible to increase the strength and the reliability of joints, reduce the costs and to simplify the assembling process. The inventive prefabricated structure for an opening in a wall comprises abutting wooden members. A slot is embodied on the end of the member in such a way that the cavity thereof is oriented towards the cavity of the end slot of another member. Said end slots are embodied in such a way that they are convergent in the direction towards the joint surface of the members, the key arranged therein having a cross section of SIGMA or X shape which is reduced in a direction of the longitudinal axis thereof. The height of said cross section is equal to or higher than the corresponding dimension of the end slot at least on the part of the key length. The length of the key or the sum of the lengths of the keys successively disposed in one cavity is equal to or higher than double the height thereof. The hardness of the material of the key is higher than the hardness of the jointed wooden members.
