    • A garage door frame (18) has a pair of vertical frame members (22) attached to each lateral end of a horizontal frame member (20). The door frame components can be transported to the construction or job site and assembled there to avoid the expense of welding at the manufacturer and to better accommodate job site specification and design changes.     • A modular system of structural framing in which a multiplicity of pre-stressed compression frame modules are combined into frameworks of any required size by use of common connecting means such as plates and brackets. Each compression frame module comprises a plurality of framing members (1, 2) forming a polygonal frame.
