The device according to the present invention allows to detect a door closing or opening condition, to actuate, only with the door closed, an electromagnetic actuator (40) that triggers door locking means and a respective switch (50), and finally to detect the door locking condition. The operation of the door lock required by current safety standards is obtained here by means of an architecture of the door lock which allows to simplify the architecture of the door lock itself, in particular by reducing the connecting contacts (10, 20) with the household appliance to only two.

摘要： A delivery receptacle for receiving objects (such as parcels, mail or other deliveries) deposited into the receptacle at residences or other building and locations, and securing the objects within the receptacle from unauthorized access. 摘要： An electronic key (20, 120) including an internal power source (31, 131) is provided for transferring electrical power to a merchandise security device (40, 140) to operate a mechanical lock mechanism. In one embodiment, the key transfers power to the device via electrical contacts (36, 38) disposed on a transfer probe (25) of the electronic key and corresponding electrical contacts (45, 46) disposed within a transfer port (42) of the device when the transfer probe engages the transfer port. In another embodiment, the key transfers power to the device via inductive transfer as a result of passing an electrical current through an inductive coil (126) disposed within a transfer probe (125) to generate a magnetic field in the vicinity of a corresponding inductive coil (146) disposed within a transfer port (142) and thereby induce an electric current in the inductive coil of the device. In other embodiments, the electronic key is programmed with a security code and the key initially programs the merchandise security device with the security code and subsequently determines whether the security code of the key matches the security code of the device to permit the key to transfer power to the device.

The electronic door lock is operable to control access to an access controlled area positioned adjacent the inner side of the door. The electronic door lock includes an outer base connected to the outer side of the door, an inner base connected to the inner side of the door, a locking mechanism coupled to the door and movable between a locked position and an unlocked position in response to a control signal, and a control circuit disposed within the inner base and operable to generate the control signal in response to an input credential. An attachment interface is at least partially formed as part of the outer base. Each of a plurality of different types of credential readers is selectively attachable and removable from the attachment interface when the outer base is attached to the door to electrically connect a selected one of the plurality of different types of credential readers to the control circuit to provide the input.
