The hose (9) has at least two chambers (21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26) where the fuel distributor (5) from which the individual lines (10) lead to the filling nozzle (4), is arranged between the filling nozzle (4) and the hose (9). The other end (11) of the hose (9) is coupled to a connection box (13).

The vapor recovery pump (32) having a bulkhead (52) attached thereto with a vapor recovery passage and a fuel supplying passage being positioned thereon (54).     • Disclosed is a fuel dispensing gun which can supply oil vapor generated from an inside of a fuel tank of a vehicle to the inside of the fuel tank again by recovering the oil vapor through an oil vapor recovering means installed in an inside of a fuel dispensing nozzle. In the fuel dispensing gun including a main body connected to a body of a lubricator and the fuel dispensing nozzle, a collection cover having a shape of a pocket which is opened in a front end direction of the fuel dispensing nozzle and is closed in a rear end direction of the fuel dispensing nozzle is installed around the fuel dispensing nozzle, a venturi tube includes an inlet portion, an outlet portion, and a neck portion having a diameter smaller than the inlet portion and the outlet portion to form a vacuum portion in a predetermined position in a longitudinal direction in the inside of the fuel dispensing nozzle by changing the pressure of the fuel in the fuel dispensing state along the longitudinal direction of the fuel dispensing nozzle, and the vacuum portion and the inside of the collection cover are connected with each other by a connecting means. Thereby, the oil vapor between an inside of a fuel charging tube and the collection cover is recovered in the inside of the fuel tank of the vehicle by the vacuum portion formed in the inside of the venturi tube.

    • An active adsorbent pollutant reducing system includes a canister containing activated carbon, a pump and a series of valves connected to the canister and the pump. The valves and pump of the system are controlled so that vapor/air in the ullage of a gasoline storage tank is pumped to the canister/adsorbent material when tank pressure reaches a first level with vapor being adsorbed and air being discharged to atmosphere. When a second tank pressure level, lower than the first tank pressure level, is achieved, the valves are controlled to reconfigure the pump and canister so that continued pump operation pulls a vacuum on the canister resulting in adsorbed gasoline vapor being purged from the adsorbent material and returned to the storage tank. Tank pressure, HC content in the vapor flow and canister weight can be used for control of the system.
