摘要： A method of hydrothermal hydrocatalytic treating biomass is provided. Lignocellulosic biomass solids is provided to a hydrothermal digestion unit in the presence of a digestive solvent, and a supported hydrogenolysis catalyst containing (a) sulfur, (b) Mo or W, and (c) Co, Ni or mixture thereof, incorporated into an alumina support, which support is predominantly alpha alumina; (ii) heating the lignocellulosic biomass solids and digestive solvent in the presence of hydrogen, and supported hydrogenolysis catalyst thereby forming a product solution containing plurality of oxygenated hydrocarbons, said alumina support having a specific surface area of up to 30 m2/g and said catalyst retaining a crush strength of at least 50% after being subjected to an aqueous phase stability test compared with before the aqueous phase stability test or a crush strength of at least 0.25 kg after being subjected to an aqueous phase stability test.

摘要： The invention discloses a dual-functional catalyst composition and an integrated process for production of olefin epoxides including propylene oxide by catalytic reaction of hydrogen peroxide from hydrogen and oxygen with olefin feeds such as propylene. The epoxides and hydrogen peroxide are preferably produced simultaneously in situ. The dual-functional catalyst comprises noble metal crystallites with dimensions on the manometer scale (on the order of , specially dispersed on titanium silicalite substrate particles. The dual functional catalyst catalyzes both the direct reaction of hydrogen and oxygen to generate hydrogen peroxide intermediate on the noble metal catalyst surface and the reaction of the hydrogen peroxide intermediate with the propylene feed to generate propylene oxide product. Combining both these functions in a single catalyst provides a very efficient integrated process operable below the flammability limits of hydrogen and highly selective for the production of hydrogen peroxide to produce olefin oxide such as propylene oxide without formation of undesired co-products.

摘要： Provided are a method for preparing a metal catalyst for preparing carbon nanotubes and a method for preparing carbon nanotubes using the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for preparing a metal catalyst for preparing carbon nanotubes using a deposition-precipitation method, the method including: preparing a support dispersion solution in which a solid support is dispersed in a solvent; and injecting a metal precursor salt solution and a pH adjusting solution into the dispersion solution to prepare a mixed solution and adsorbing metal oxides or metal hydroxides formed therefrom on a surface of the solid support to prepare a catalyst particle. In the metal catalyst for preparing carbon nanotubes according to the present invention, a use rate of a metal component, which is an active component of the catalyst, may be high, such that a synthetic yield of the carbon nanotube may be high, side reactions may be small, and carbon nanotubes having a more uniform shape may be synthesized.

摘要： In a process for producing a hydroprocessing catalyst, a particulate metal oxide composition comprising an oxide of at least one first metal selected from Group 6 of the Periodic Table of the Elements can be mixed with particles of a sulfide of at least one second metal selected from Groups 8 to 10 of the Periodic Table of the Elements to produce a particulate catalyst precursor.
