摘要： Various arrangements of fluidics systems are disclosed. In one arrangement, an aspiration circuit for a fluidics system is disclosed that selectively controls aspiration. The aspiration circuit comprises an aspiration line operatively connected to a surgical instrument, an aspiration exhaust line operatively connected to a waste receptacle; an aspiration vent line connected at a first end to the aspiration line; and a selectively variable vent valve operatively connected to the aspiration vent line. The variable vent valve may be selectively moved to vary aspiration pressure within the aspiration line. Other fluidics systems are disclosed that include a selectively positionable irrigation valve that may also be incorporated into a fluidics system that includes a variable vent valve.

The gravity feeding device may have a cover with a through hole that allows liquid nutrients within the infant feeding device to be fed to an infant by way of gravity. If the infant feeding device clogs up, then either an integrated pump or a separate pump may be applied to the infant feeding device to increase pressure and push out the clog from the system. the through hole may be covered with a hydrophobic filter to allow air to pass there through and allow the feeding of the infant by way of gravity yet liquid nutrients within the infant feeding device cannot escape or be contaminated during use.

摘要： Methods, devices and pharmaceutical compositions for the controlled, non-surgical removal and retrieval of cells from a plurality of skin lesions and tissue surfaces are disclosed. A synergistic effect of proteolytic digestion of the intracellular matrix and "stripping" flow is achieved by treating a defined area with a controlled, continuous stream of proteolytic enzyme solution, causing gentle but effective tissue erosion. Isolated cells from the skin lesion and/or tissue surface may be collected from the protease solution stream for histological analysis and/or cell culture, affording a method of "enzymatic biopsy". The protease solution may be supplemented with anesthetics, coagulants, anticoagulants and antibiotics to decrease the discomfort, erythema, bleeding, risk of infection and scarring traditionally associated with surgical treatment of skin lesions. Furthermore, in the present invention delivery of precise levels of catalytic activity is ensured by controlled activation of stable, inactivated enzyme stock solutions and powders shortly prior to application.

摘要： Apparatus for cleansing a colon of a patient, the apparatus including a foldable feed tube having a portion folded within another portion of the feed tube; the folded portion unfolding under pressure of fluid inflow, the unfolding proceeding by eversion (turning inside-out), whereby the eversion of the folded part adds to the length of an unfolded part of the feed tube, thereby extending its length; a fluid source arranged to feed fluid into the feed tube to inflate the folded portion of the feed tube, thereby unfolding and extending the feed tube into the colon of the patient; the feed tube conducting the fluid into the colon and permitting exit of the fluid from the feed tube through at least one aperture, the exit aperture allowing cleansing of the colon by the fluid flowing one way outside of the feed tube in most of the colon in the direction from the cecum toward the anus of the patient, the fluid in the feed tube flowing one way in the opposite direction; and a drainage channel configured for its insertion through the anus, the inner end of the drainage channel opening into the rectum behind the anus upon insertion, at least a part of the drainage channel including at least two sub-channels, of which at least one sub-channel conducts washing liquid into the patient and at least one other sub-channel drains the washing liquid out of the patient, thereby separating inflow and outflow, the liquid inflow reaching the colon via the feed tube, the outflow resulting from drainage of the colon cleansing.
