    • The pressure wave transmission according to the invention comprises a cup-shaped sleeve intended to provide for the sealing between the leading part and the driven part of each side of the pressure wave generator (12). The sleeve is reinforced inside against deformations by means of a bearing body (10, 11) shaped as a cup and open on the pressure side. In order to provide for the sealing, the front edges of the pressure wheel (7) and of the bearing bodies (10, 11) are rotatingly and sealingly connected, and the bearing body (10) on the control side is attached to the cover (3, 4) of the frame by means of a pipe (28). By suppressing a differential pressure in the front region of the pressure wheel, the bearing body is readily made and a lower deformation pressure is obtained together with a better distribution of the pressure so that it is possible to have walls of a thickness appropriate to the deformation and to provide for a more reliable sealing while prolonging the life time.
