    • Disclosed is a bypass valve for vehicles, which provides effective control of exhaust gas, permits effective use of an internal space of the bypass valve, and guarantees good durability of flaps and a shaft. The bypass valve includes a valve-housing coupled to an outlet of an EGR cooler, a first intake port formed on one side of the valve-housing and connected to a cooling passage of the EGR cooler, a second intake port on the one side of the valve-housing and connected to a bypass passage of the EGR cooler, an exhaust port on the other side of the valve-housing, a first transfer channel in the valve-housing to connect the first intake port to the exhaust port, a second transfer channel in the valve-housing to connect the second intake port to the exhaust port, a first flap rotatably disposed in the first transfer channel, and a second flap rotatably disposed in the second transfer channel. The first and second flaps selectively open or close the first and second transfer channels to allow some of exhaust gas from an exhaust manifold to be directly recirculated to an intake manifold or to be recirculated thereto after being cooled.

    • A bypass valve for a vehicle with excellent durability is provided, which can be easily manufactured with a simple structure, which can allow a flap for selectively discharging exhaust gas to smoothly work, and which does not cause an erroneous operation or a deformation in a long-term use. The bypass valve includes: an intake port formed in a surface of a valve housing; a first exhaust port formed in another surface of the valve housing and connected to a cooling flow channel of an EGR cooler; a second exhaust port formed to be adjacent to the first exhaust port and connected to a bypass flow channel of the EGR cooler; a gas transfer channel formed in the valve housing and having a junction section formed in the middle so as to connect the intake port and the first and second exhaust ports; a housing cover coupled to an opened side of the junction section; a shaft of which both ends are coupled to the valve housing and the housing cover and which is rotatably disposed in the junction section; a flap coupled to the middle of the shaft so as to selectively open and close the first and second exhaust ports; and a driving mechanism disposed on one side of the valve housing so as to cause the flap to swing.

    • A bypass valve having an EGR valve in which the bypass valve and the EGR valve are assembled into a module is provided. The bypass valve having an EGR valve includes: an intake port formed in a side surface of a valve housing; a first exhaust port formed in another side surface of the valve housing and connected to a cooling flow channel of an EGR cooler; a second exhaust port formed adjacent to the first exhaust port and connected to a bypass flow channel of the EGR cooler; a gas transfer channel formed in the valve housing and having a junction section formed in the middle thereof so as to connect the intake port to the first and second exhaust ports; an EGR valve coupling section formed in the top surface of the valve housing close to the intake port; the EGR valve coupled to the EGR valve coupling section and partially located at a position of the gas transfer channel close to the intake port so as to pass or intercept exhaust gas; and a flap swingably disposed in the junction section so as to selectively open and close the first and second exhaust ports. Since the bypass valve and the EGR valve are assembled into a module, it is advantageous for guaranteeing a space of an engine room at the time of designing a vehicle engine. In addition, the components for connecting the bypass valve and the EGR valve are not necessary, thereby reducing the cost.
