摘要： An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed for securing a cartridge 106. A cartridge 106 may contain a fluid processing component such as a fluid filtration component, a fluid generation component, a fluid consumption component, or a fluid containment. The cartridge 106 has a cartridge interface 404. An interface fluid outlet port is disposed on the cartridge interface 406. The interface fluid outlet port 408 is in fluid communication with an interior of the cartridge 106. The interface fluid outlet port 408 is configured to mate with a receiver fluid inlet port 416 of a cartridge receiver 406. A biasing member 414 applies a biasing force that presses the interface fluid outlet port 408 against the receiver fluid inlet port 416. The biasing force removably secures the cartridge 106 to the cartridge receiver 406.

摘要： An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed to generate hydrogen. A liquid permeable material (110) with one or more cavities contains a solid anhydrous chemical hydride and an anhydrous activating agent. A housing (202a,b) that is heat and pressure resistant houses the liquid permeable material (110), and a liquid. One or more liquid sources inject the liquid into the housing (202a,b) such that the liquid contacts at least a portion of the liquid permeable material (110). A gas outlet port (408) releases hydrogen gas produced by a reaction comprising the solid anhydrous chemical hydride, the anhydrous activating agent, and the liquid. A hydrogen output regulator controls the amount of hydrogen gas that the gas outlet port (408) releases.

摘要： An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed for processing a hydrogen gas stream comprising a housing, a condensing media, a mechanical filtration element, a coalescer element, and an outlet port. The housing comprises a heat- and pressure resistant material and has an internal chamber configured to receive a hydrogen gas stream. A condenser may cool the hydrogen gas stream to promote water condensation. The condensing media removes entrained liquid water from the hydrogen gas stream. The mechanical filtration element receives the hydrogen gas stream as the hydrogen gas stream exits the condensing media. The mechanical filtration element collects particulate matter from the hydrogen gas stream. The coalescer element receives the hydrogen gas stream as the hydrogen gas stream exits the mechanical filtration element. The coalesce element removes substantially all of the liquid water formed in the hydrogen gas stream.

摘要： An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed to generate electric power from a chemical hydride. A fuel cartridge (106) produces hydrogen by reacting a liquid with a chemical hydride. A fuel cell stack (146) generates electric power using an oxygen source and the produced hydrogen. An electric power storage device (168) is coupled with the fuel cell stack (146). The electric power storage device (168) stores and supplies electric power. One or more liquid sources inject the liquid into the fuel cartridge (106) at a variable rate. A controller (192) calculates a liquid injection rate for the one or more liquid sources based on power demands of an electric load.
