摘要： A stress relieving, heat dissipating capacitor mount (10) for large, high power, high temperature ceramic capacitors (20A) which comprises a pair of substantially parallel, spaced-apart conductors (11, 13) provided with a plurality of corresponding spaced-apart lateral slots (12A, 14A) on facing planar sides thereof for receiving a plurality of capacitors (20A) having opposing electrode ends (22A, 24A) within the corresponding slots (12A, 14A); a conductive binder fixing the capacitor ends (22A, 24A) within the slots (12A, 14A); and flexible connectors (26, 28) fixing the pair of conductors (11, 13) to a planar surface such as a printed circuit board (30). The flexible connectors (26, 28) allow each of the conductors (11, 13) to be electrically connected to the printed circuit board (30). The slots (12A, 14A) may be of differing width to accommodate capacitors (20A) of differing thickness and capacitance. Fluid cooling for the capacitors (20A) may be provided through apertures (36A) in the printed circuit board.

摘要： A disassemblable capacitor mount (10) for ceramic capacitors (20A) which allows capacitors (20A) to be mechanically secured to a printed circuit board (30) and allows for good electrical contact to be made with the capacitors (20A) to handle high power. The capacitor mount comprises a pair of parallel, spaced-apart conductors (11, 13) provided with a plurality of corresponding spaced-apart lateral slots (12A, 14A) on facing planar sides (16). A plurality of compressible contractors (23A, 25A) are disposed within the slots (12A, 14A). A plurality of capacitors having opposed electrode ends (22A, 24A) are disposed (20A) between the conductors (11, 13) with the ends (22A, 24A) positioned within the slots (12A, 14A) and contacting the contactors (23A, 25A). A rigid mechanism (28, 30) removably fixes the conductors (11, 13) to a planar surface (30). The conductors (11, 13) compressingly urge against the capacitors (20A).

摘要： A feed-through capacitor for variable speed constant frequency aircraft power systems to provide filtering for unwanted higher harmonics and electromagnetic interference which includes a hollow conductive housing (30), a conductive feed-through stud (20) within the housing, an annular capacitive element (50) and an electrical coupling, comprising a first conductor (40) composed between an outer surface of the stud and an inner surface of the capacitive element and a second conductor (60) disposed radially between an outer surface of the capacitive element and an inner surface of the housing. The first and second conductors bear resiliently against electrode coatings (51, 52) on the capacitive element to suspend the capacitive element between the feed-through stud and the housing, thereby allowing the housing, the capacitive element, and the stud to shift relative to one another as a temperature of the feed-through capacitor changes, whereby mechanical stress is dissipated.
