    • Apparatus and methods of receive diversity (RxD) full cell search by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system are described. In an aspect, a first set of received energies of a first signal received at a first antenna and a second set of received energies of a second signal received at a second antenna may be separately determined. Based thereon, a set of peak energies and corresponding antenna indices, along with a slot timing of at least one cell corresponding to the set of peak energies and corresponding antenna indices, may be determined. A frame timing and a scrambling code for the at least one cell then may be determined using a respective one of the first antenna and the second antenna corresponding to each of the set of peak energies and the corresponding antenna indices, along with the respective slot timing of the at least one cell.

    • The present disclosure presents a method and apparatus for determining reselection parameters for detected cells. For example, the method may include receiving system information block (SIB) data associated with one or more cells in a neighbor cell list (NCL). In such example, the SIB data may include a ranking offset parameter associated with each of the NCL cells. Furthermore, such an example method may include detecting a cell that is not in the NCL, determining a reselection ranking value associated with each of the NCL cells, the detected cell and the serving cell. In addition, in some examples, such method may include ranking the one or more NCL cells, the detected cell and the serving cell in a ranking list based on the reselection ranking values. As such, reselection parameters for detected cells may be determined.

    • Methods and apparatus for decoding system information include determining a maximum repetition rate duration based at least in part on a master information block (MIB). The methods and apparatus further include generating a distributed system information block (SIB) decoding scheme for allocating radio frequency resources between a first subscriber identity module (SIM) and a second SIM. In some aspects, the distributed SIB decoding scheme includes a partitioned SIB decoding schedule for the maximum repetition rate duration and based at least in part on a continuous SIB decoding period. Additionally, the methods and apparatus include attempting to decode one or more SIBs during the maximum repetition rate duration according to the distributed SIB decoding scheme.
