摘要： According to embodiments of the present invention, an optical imaging device is provided. The optical imaging device includes an optics arrangement configured to generate an extended-source illumination pattern including a plurality of separate spectral bands, and to illuminate a respective section of a sample to be imaged with a respective spectral band of the plurality of separate spectral bands, wherein the optics arrangement is further configured to form an interference signal from a sample light comprising respective return lights from respective sections of the sample illuminated by respective spectral bands of the extended-source illumination pattern, and a reference light, and a detector configured to receive the interference signal for generating an image corresponding to the sections of the sample. According to further embodiments of the present invention, a method for imaging a sample and a method for generating an image are also provided.

摘要： Aspects concern an optical coherence tomography (OCT) system for imaging of a sample, comprising: a sample arm for directing light onto the sample, the sample arm comprises sample arm optics comprising a dispersive element to generate an extended source for illuminating the sample; a reference arm; a detector for detecting an interference signal from light that is reflected from the reference arm and light that is back-reflected or back-scattered from the sample; and a scanner for scanning the extended source across the sample along a fast axis and a slow axis such that a plurality of partial-spectrum frames is obtained at the detector; wherein the dispersive element is orientable such that the extended source is disposed at a non-zero angle to the fast axis.

摘要： According to embodiments of the present invention, an optical imaging device is provided. The optical imaging device includes an optics arrangement having a focusing optics, the optics arrangement configured to generate a plurality of coherent light beams incident on the focusing optics to be focused to a common focus point to illuminate a section of a sample, wherein the plurality of coherent light beams define respective discrete apertures at respective different positions on the focusing optics, and wherein the optics arrangement is further configured to receive, from the section of the sample, return lights for generation of at least one image representing the section of the sample. According to further embodiments of the present invention, a method for imaging is also provided.

摘要： Methods are proposed to improve axial resolution in optical coherence tomography (OCT). In one aspect, the method comprises: obtaining a k-space interferogram of an OCT spectral image; uniformly reshaping the k-space interferogram to a quasi- stationary interferogram by extracting a source envelope; fitting a spectral estimation model to the quasi-stationary interferogram; and calculating an axial depth profile using the fitted spectral estimation model.
